Mane 6 Fillies by CadmiumCrab Mane 6 Fillies by CadmiumCrab
So I've made all these before, but never gotten them together for a picture.

This is a full set of the Mane 6 as they appear in Sonic Rainboom. They're made from modified Sweetie Belles, Scootaloos, and Apple Blooms with acrylic paint and Sculpey 3.

I will have one set for sale at Bronycon and will be selling the other 6 separately.

Just a random do you add the sculpey? Doesn't sculpey have to bake? Wouldn't the plastic melt in the oven? o.o?

Oh, and GREAT work! I love that Rara! <3

No doubt you had a few takers when it came to a few of these ponies, that's amazing you had all these re-done just by modifying some Cutie Mark Crusaders models, wow!

You should work for Hasbro for your handywork here, not kidding.  Each one of these ponies look totally flawless in their painting, their essential details and even the way you taken such time to create the hair for ones like Rarity or RD especially, outstanding.

Speaking of outstanding though is the fact they even express some of the same reactions you would expect them from the episode with the Pinkie Pie's hair being down and her mood being much more depressed and RD being that hot hoofed racer we were introduced to.  Attention to details like that can really make or break some sculptures and heck CadmiumCrab, you definitely did your research. o0o

Should also congratulate you on spending such a long time no doubt having to make these fillies out and each one turning out so ideal and cute for the eyes as well the fans themselves.  Your knowhow with your tools really shines here and I do hope your pat yourself on the back for doing such a spectacular job.

Might not ever be fortunate enough to head to BronyCon but to know there`s good talent like yourself there showing off figures as professionally done a this, that works for me. *applauses and whistles*

Thank you so much for this well-thought comment! I really tried to infuse them with some personality, and I'm glad it came across. I never make any fanart without familiarizing myself with the source material, its those little details that really make a piece come to life.

This set sold even before the vendor area opened, another vendor actually scooped them up right away. Working as a toy designer for Hasbro would be amazing, but I'm pretty satisfied with my day job at Girl Scouts if that never works out.

Again, thank you for this comment. It's reactions like this that really give me the motivation to keep working.

Oh your very right about where those little elements can mean the most and especially when you doing something as a figure and you don't have the UNDO button on hand, lol.  It goes to show what attention to detail really is and how much more your work shows for that, bravo.

Sounds good but heck if Hasbro had any good sense in them they might consider to hire talented folks like yourself just to get some good memorabilia out there for the fans.

Your more than welcome for the support Cadmium, happy to cheer on the many talented upon the DA and same goes for us crab-type deviants as well, lol.
